Yeah about the more recent posting to my blog is not working out the way I had hoped that it would. My wonderful wife decided to go to the gulf and help out with the tragedy that we are having down there and that has not left much time to keep up with this so for you few who actually might read this I apologize.

Should be set up to blog again.

Hey guys and gals how is it going. Well after what seems like an eternity I should be able to make this blog some what respectable. A friend of mine gave me his old laptop which works perfect. So with that being said I am mobile which also means I can take it down to my studio(basement) and work on the site and the mini's at the same time. I think this will be a real advantage to me and others as I paint up several decent sized commissions and show some of my techniques and such. Not only will this be about painting but I am going to set up shop to make some rather nice terrain pieces and probably some display bases and diorama's before to much longer. I would definitely keep my eyes on this space as some of these items come up for sale you will not be sorry because I am sure most of the pieces are going to be a steal.

First Commission

My first really big commission is finally coming to an end it has been a long time coming and the customer is extremely happy with the work. It has actually drawn more business in for me which I am appreciative of.

Sorry

I know it has been a while since I updated for you guys but the commissions are coming up fast to there deadlines and I am knocking them out left and right so please bear with me. I do have a squad of gunmages painted and ready for there pictures to be taken should get that done really soon.

Utterly Ridiculous

I will put some pics of these guys I just painted the eyes for up tomorrow but the eyes on these things are Utterly Ridiculous. They are just so tiny and the hardest I have done to date can't wait to do more.

Sorry I have not posted in a little while been busy catching up on my commissions and such. I have painted a 5 man Khador Demo Crops and a Morter team in 2 days and have like 25 more minis to paint and 8 of them are cavalry unfortunately no pics of them.

I still have quite a bit of work to do to him but this is what I have completed to him so far. So far I am not impressed with his eyes at all and I need to work on his skin tone also. I also need to clean up the lightning on his blade , but he is coming together.

This is him with a decent base coat on him and somewhat of a wash.

This fellow is him after I chunked his old arm with the old school bolt pistol and gave him a little weapon update. With the new arm I gave him a studded shoulder pad to add to the Space Wolf awesomness.

Finally

I finally got some new varnish today. I have finally ran out of matte varnish after 5 yrs of using the same can of GW matte varnish. I am trying out the Army Painter brand matte varnish and so far I really love it.

Hey folks this is going to be the piece I enter in the Astronomican's Rumble or Stumble event. What is the Rumble or Stumble might you ask it is a newer competition that we are doing, Where several people come together and paint a mini in a predetermined amount of time the one with the best wins.

What do you guys think.

I just thought I would throw this up here. I finished it not to long ago for my Mercenary Force. As soon as I get some more Matte Varnish that doesn't leave the mini shiny I will add my Vanguard and Mule I have painted.


On another note I have no Idea what I am doing with this Blog. If anyone has any tips and tricks or knows how to manipulate these blogs please contact me.Please.

As Promised

As Promised I started a gallery for my mini's I have painted it is by far not complete I still have to go through the web and find more of them but I will, I just got tired of it. Happy Painting folks.

Ok brand new day I got those 5 Marines kicked out for a buddy yesterday and today I might paint a few of my own mini's. I have a squad of Arcane Tempest Gun Mages that need painted up. If I get them painted then I will have pics of them up pretty soon. I might also go around and gather up pics I have else where and start a galleries for the rest of the stuff I have floating around the web also.

Hey guys this is my first post to this thing so bare with me as I am still learning to mess with this thing. I have been painting mini's on a regular basis for about 6 yrs now. I love it and here recently I decided to step it up a notch and improve my photo taking of mini's and to do commissions of local people's mini's.
